Owner - Scott Bolthouse, MBA, CSA
"If you could have any job in the world,
what would it be?" For Scott, the answer
to this question was, "to own an in-home
assisted care service for the elderly".
Although this is not your typical answer, it is certainly
one that is from the heart. A service of this nature would
leverage his compassion for the elderly and high personal
expectations, as well as build upon his 17 years in the business
world. Through much prayer, counsel and research, this inspiration
became a business...in the form of Lakeshore Senior Care.
Scott has earned the designation as a Certified Senior
Advisor, which gives him a comprehensive background on the
issues facing mature adults. As a Certified Senior Advisor
(CSA), Scott understands the concerns, health changes, and
physical needs that accompany the aging process. Scott received
his Bachelor of Science from Ferris State University, and
a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan
University.
Owner - Gwen Bolthouse, RN BSN
Gwen's personality shows through her work. She has a deep
respect for the elderly and has been a source of great encouragement
to her patients. More importantly, her level of care is exceptional.
Her sensitivity to those in need and her understanding of
her patient's expectations, improve the care that she provides.
Gwen received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from
Calvin College in the Hope-Calvin Nursing Program. She has
a significant background in nursing for over 15 years in various
settings:
Neonatal ICU
Pediatric Cardio-Thoracic ICU
Homecare - Infusion Therapy
Eye Center / Surgery Center - Cataract surgeries and Laser treatments
Outpatient Surgery - Hospital setting
Aside from Gwen and Scott's involvement with their young
family, they are active in their church and with small group
ministries.
